The pipe bender is mainly composed of wheel mold, clamp mold, guide mold and mandrel. In order to ensure the forming quality of pipe fittings, it is necessary to control the deformation degree within the allowable range, and there are certain limits and requirements for the forming limit of pipe fittings. When we operate the pipe bender, we need to follow certain specifications to ensure safety first. The operation processes are summarized as follows:
Regularization of pipe type: when arranging and setting pipes, avoid excessive circular arc, compound bend, arbitrary curve and circular arc greater than 180 degrees, otherwise unreasonable problems such as limit value and design of the machine tool will occur;
Bending radius: the size of the bending radius will affect the resistance of the pipe during bending and forming. Normally, it is recommended that the R value of the bending die be 23 times the pipe diameter;
Standardization of bending radius: try to "one tube the first mock examination" and "multiple tubes the first mock examination". Normally, there is only one bending radius;
Bending forming speed: the avoidance speed is too fast or too slow, preferably 20% - 40% of the maximum bending speed of the machine;
Mandrel and its position: according to the theory of pulling, the best thing is that the tangent line is flush with the tangent line of the bending die, or 1-2mm in advance. At this time, the quality of the formed bend is also good.
At present, most of the high-end market of pipe benders in China is occupied by other countries. I hope that the technology of pipe benders in China can be further developed and expanded.
